There is exactly one study I've found saying you can use narcan to start bupe in about half an hour off of fent is this true? Does the science add up? I am willing to be a guinea pig but forst I'd like to know if you guys know anything about this sorry

Yes narcan puts you in automatic withdrawal however I've had in our camp before where I haven't withdrawed probably because of the amount that I had if I would have had more I probably would have. But yes I have been into immediate withdrawal with it before. I would not suggest doing it because you don't know the scope of the level of withdrawal that you'll have. I would suggest using Suboxone
I have safety meds on hand incase it doesn't work so I'm going to try

I think this is a great question, but unfortunately it's going be really hard to find people with personal experience or knowledge on this topic as I haven't heard of anyone who's tried this and its probably pretty rare.
It's possible it might work, but why put yourself in precipitated withdrawals, and take a risk of it backfiring when you can do the Bernese method?
One of the questions I have regarding this method is that precipitated withdrawals is caused by a net loss in opiate receptor activation. So if the narcan rips off the fent and puts you in to precipitated withdrawals, but the bupe still doest activate the receptors to the same degree as the fent because its a partial agonist, you may still feel terrible after taking the bupe.
Also we know that narcan is not so efficient at removing fent from the receptors because the fent hold on so strongly, this is why some fent overdoses require multiple doses of narcan and even sometimes a continuous drip.
It's possible that the dose of narcan wont remove all the fent from your receptors and then when you take the bupe it will knock off the remaining fent making you feel worse.
This is all just speculation as I have never tried this method nor have I ever heard of anyone trying it. Im just pointing out potential concerns I would have.
I don't advise trying this method. I've been in precipitated withdrawals a few times myself and I would never want to risk that again, its absolutely miserable.
However if your dead set on trying this and you do end up doing it i'd very interested in the results.
Lastly if you do try it make sure you do it with a friend around in case it doesn't go well so they can be with you and help in an emergency.
